This week's edition of our program features the composer Aadesh Shrivastava, who was a music composer and singer of Indian music born on 4 September 1964 and died on 5 September 2015.

Here's some information about him:

* A music composer and singer
* Worked as a drummer for music composers including R. D. Burman, Rajesh Roshan before working independently as a music director
* Composed music for over 100 films
* Got his first big break with the film Kanyadaan in 1993
* Lata Mangeshkar sang one of his first songs - Oh Sajna Dilbar, a duet with Udit Narayan, which became popular on the radio
* Shrivastava himself sang a number of hit songs such as "Sona Sona", "Shava Shava", "Gustakhiyaan" and "Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha"
* In 2005, he became a judge on the talent show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005
* In 2006, he turned to direction with his short film on child prostitution, Sanaa
* In 2009, he made a cameo in the film World Cupp 2011
* Shrivastava has collaborated with international artists such as Akon, Julia Fordham, Shakira, T-Pain and Wyclef Jean
