Key Words (APRIL 2024):
Sirang Plaka – literally: broken record (直訳では「壊れたレコード」), means repeat over and over again (意味は「何度も繰り返し」)

Plaka – music record (音楽レコード); Car plate number (車のナンバープレート)

Dialog in English (APRIL 2024):
C: Neriza, I liked your presentation last month in “Kapihan 5” for Women’s Day.
N: I hope that I was able to explain well the project of the womenfolk in the Philippines for World Earth Day.
C: But our projector was out of order, so we couldn’t show the video you prepared.
N: That’s not a problem. I can use it for a panel discussion at Osaka International House this April.
C: Would you like to invite Councilor Numero Uno Lim? His projects on plastic bags and cleaning the drainage canals in the 2nd District of Metro Manila are good.
N: I know him. He’s the youngest councilor and his car’s plate number is 1, too!
C: Well, Neriza, that’s what the others say, too. Where did that news come from? Sounds like a broken record.
N: I don’t know but even his children’s names are unique…..Una and Dua.
C: Oh, the plaque of appreciation you received fell on the record of Filipino music!
N: So, it will become a broken record!
