N: Sori, Cindy. Narito kami ng pamilya ko sa isang kamping na lugar sa bundok. Nag-online detox kami. Walang Internet o mobile phone o SNS.
C: Kaya pala bumalik ang mga email ko sa iyo! Pero, saan ka tumatawag?
N: Sa Isang lumang booth ng telepono. Nag-bisikleta kami para makita ang mga lumang bahay sa Miyata-cho sa Kyoto. Bago magdapit.-hapon, naglakad kami sa gubat .
C: Nature therapy o forest bathing”ang tawag diyan. Mabuti raw iyan sa kabuuang kalusugan natin.
N: At kagabi naman, nag-ihaw kami ng Dalagang Bukid at mga gulay pagkatapos ng magbalsa at magkuweba,.
C: Parang may naggigitara malapit sa iyo.
N: Ahh, sina Makoto at Ryo iyon! Tutugtog sila sa cafe sa gitna ng kabukiran!

C: Hello, Neriza! I’m glad you called. Why couldn’t I contact you or send a message?
N: I’m sorry, Cindy but my family and I are now in a camping area in the mountains We did online detox .. No internet, mobile phones nor SNS.
C: That’s why all my emails to you bounced back. But where are you making the call?
N: In an old telephone booth. We rode bikes to see the old houses at Miyata-cho in Kyoto. Before dusk, we walked at a forest.
C: That’s called nature therapy or forest bath. It is said to be good for our wholesome health.
N: And last night, we grilled yellowtail fusilier and some vegetables after rafting and caving.
C: Seems like someone is playing a guitar near you!
N; Oh, that’s Makoto and Ryo! They will perform in a cafe in the middle of the rice fields.

N: Ayyy ...,naubos kaagad sa isang kisapmata ang minatamis na santol na paborito ni Dr. Jose Rizal!

N: Cindy, come and let’s sit in the veranda. There are big armchairs there.
C: The contour changes made on your grandfather’s old house are excellent!  
N: My architect niece took care of the renovation!
C: Look at the floor, it’s very shiny! It’s even clearer than my eyes.
N: My grandmother told me that before, the woods from mahogany and agarwood trees were used for the floors and the doors.
C: No wonder, they are still shiny and durable. By the way…..why are there a lot of food?
N: It’s the 125th anniversary of our Independence Day, so the prepared foods are special! Here’s the favorite food of our heroes. Let’s eat!
C: Ohhh…it’s written.... Fish sinigang made with mangoes is what Lapulapu liked, grilled chicken on banana sheath was Bonifacio’s favorite, and pinakbet for Gabriela Silang. But, why is there nothing in Dr. Jose Rizal’s plate?
N: Ohhh….the preserved cotton fruit that is Dr. Jose Rizal’s favorite is gone fast in a blink of an eye!!
