In this week's edition, the theme is new rules of bicycles in Japan. New rules to combat reckless bicycling went into effect across Japan from this month. Police can now fine riders for a host of violations including holding an umbrella while riding, and disobeying traffic signals.
Bicycles are very useful and comportable way to transport. But riding safely and obeying the law is crucial for creating a better society, so please take this opportunity to review the new rules.
