N: Hindi ba nagdoor bell yung nagdeliber niyan?
C: Ahh….hiniling ko kasi sa “takkyubin“ ay iwan na lamang sa may pintuan dahil may pilay ako.
N: Kaya nga ako nagpunta rito. Dinalhan kita ng lumpiang sariwa! Ginawa ko ang balat niyan!
C: Salamat, Neriza... Napakasarap! Talo mo si Bessie sa pagluluto!
N: Talaga? Hindi naman!! Huwag mong sasabihin iyan sa harap niya.
C: Bakit naman?
N: Balat sibuyas kasi siya!!
C: Ok lang yun, Pero mas mahusay naman siyang magluto ng Kare Kare kaysa sa iyo!!
N: Aba ... Sobra ka na!! Uuwi na ako niyan!
C: Ahh... Ikaw yata ang mas balat sibuyas!!!
Dialog in English (FEBRUARY 2025):
N: Cindy, are those two boxes in front of your door yours?
C: Ohh, I had forgotten about it. Those are onions from Awajishima.
N: Hey, why were you given those?
C: I gave a donation to the Hometown Tax Payment System.
N: Didn’t the man who delivered those ring the doorbell?
C: Oh…. Because I requested the delivery company to leave it by the door because I sprained my foot!
N: That’s why I came here. I brought you fresh lumpia rolls. I made its wrappers.
C: Thank you, Neriza….. It’s so delicious! You exceed Bessie’s cooking!
N: Really? I don’t think so. Don’t tell her that when she’s around.
C: Why not?
N: She’s a sensitive person!
C: No problem with that. Anyway, she’s better than you in cooking Kare Kare though.
N: Hey... that’s too much! I’ll be going home then!!
C: Ohhh, so it’s you who is more sensitive!!
