N: Ang init kasi noong dumating kayo.
C: Naku! Naiwan ko sa bahay!!
Dialog in English (JULY 2024):
C: Our vacation in the Philippines was a lot of fun! I can’t forget the cold coconut juice, the soursop juice and the tapioca and jelly.
N: Because it was so hot when you arrived. Those were good to cool your bodies!
C: That’s true.
N: People frequently go to vacation places or retreat in Baguio, Cebu, Siargao, and other places.
C: That’s true! That’s why I’m thinking of buying a vacation house in Baguio.
N: That’s a wholesome plan. Baguio has been my family’s favorite vacation place since before.
C: It’s easy to travel there now than before because of the new expressways.
N: Since it is always cold there, food is good especially the vegetables and fruits!
C: I will also build an Ifugao house or the so-called Fale for “sado“ or tea ceremony.
N: Hey, The Ifugao has a special tea. I know where to buy that tea plant, which is called Camellia Sinensis!
C: Really! I’ve heard that it’s good for health. Let’s go there!
N: Okay, I’ll accompany you. Hey, the fireworks display has started Are you ready with your new camera?
C. Oh no! I left it at home!
