From Overseas India is a Hindi program on FM COCOLO broadcasting on Monday in every two weeks from 8 to 9 P.M. hosted by DJ Sunny Francis.

This week’s program features a tribute to S. Janaki, the South Indian playback singer who sadly passed away last month at the age of 88. Known as the "Queen of Expression and Modulation," Janaki recorded over 48,000 songs throughout her career; however, as the majority of her work was in Kannada, we haven't featured her much on the show until now.

Nevertheless, S. Janaki’s achievements—including winning four National Film Awards—are undeniably world-class. Please enjoy her magnificent voice.
