今夜はDJロジェリオがFrom Overseas Brazilをお送りします。特集では、Orquestra Afro-Brasileiraの80 Anos (Remixes)を取り上げます。Orquestra Afro-Brasileiraというのは、50年代と60年代に一枚ずつアルバムをリリースしたリオデジャネイロの楽団です。そのオリジナルメンバーであるカルロス・ネグレイロスを中心に2021年突如リリースされたのがこの80 Anos (Remixes)です。
リミックスというだけあって現代的にアレンジされた楽曲も素晴らしいですが、ゲスト陣も豪華！Marcelo D2やEmicida、Criolo、DJ Nutsといったそうそうたるアーティストが参加しています。

N: Really?
C: Yes. Their parents will join, too.
N: That’s very timely! Your principal, Mr. Maruyama, did talk to me.
C: About what?
N: He would like to bring his family to the Philippines on Christmas!
C: Seems like the number of people enlisting to join will reach fifty!
N: That’s many! As we say “The more the merrier”!
