From Overseas India - Bharat Ki Dharkan is a Hindi/English program broadcasting every Sunday morning from 5 to 6 hosted by DJ Sunny Francis.
In this week's edition of the program, Sunny picks-up a composer duo, consisting of Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma. They are considered among the most successful composer in Hindi film history and composed music for about 750 Hindi movies from 1963 to 1998, working for almost all notable filmmakers.
Throughout their tenure as music directors, Laxmikant–Pyarelal only used A-grade singers. Their mentors, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammad Rafi agreed to sing for them in spite of low budgets, and Laxmikant–Pyarelal always remained indebted to them. In fact, all three, Lata, Mohammad Rafi and Asha Bhosle have sung the highest number of songs in their career for Laxmikant–Pyarelal.

In this week's edition of the program, we feature soundtracks of comedy film series "Hera Pheri". Hera Pheri is a film directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Om Puri and Gulshan Grover. The movie is a remake of 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking which itself was inspired by the 1971 TV movie See The Man Run. It is the first instalment of the Hera Pheri franchise.
The second installment was "Phir Hera Pheri" released in 2006. It was a major commercial success, becoming the 8th highest grosser of the year.And recently the third installment "Hera Pheri 3" is reported. Actors Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty will reprise their roles from previous two films.
